What you'll do

As an Account Executive, you will be a key player in our growth strategy in Germany. Our target clients include financial service providers, banks, SMEs (MKB)(+), corporate companies, and legal advisory firms. You will build strong relationships with our German clients by meeting them, understanding their needs, and advising them based on their questions and challenges. You will help them understand the benefits our virtual data room can offer their businesses. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Prospecting: Identify and target potential clients (such as KPMG, EY, CBRE) through various channels, including cold calling, emails, and outreach via social media. You will collaborate with the German sales team, including Business Development Representatives, to address the German market.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute lead generation and conversion strategies.

  • Achieving Goals: Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual targets, playing a crucial role in the company's growth with your success.

  • Analysis: Listen to the needs of potential clients, understand their challenges, and offer appropriate solutions. You will educate them about our SaaS solutions while learning from their feedback and insights.

  • Building Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. Your experience in the German market will help build a foundation of trust and credibility. You will speak the language of various target groups and adapt accordingly.

Who you are


You are passionate about building and maintaining long-term relationships with international clients in the M&A industry using our SaaS product. You don’t wait for opportunities – you identify them and seize them immediately. You communicate clearly and efficiently, both verbally and in writing, and can convey ideas and information effectively. You actively contribute to improving our service, workflows, customer orientation, and communication. Our clients are based in Western Europe, and you’re open to occasional travel to meet customers in Germany.

  • Education: A Bachelor’s or University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably in a SaaS or M&A environment. Experience in the German market is a plus.

  • CRM Knowledge: Experience with tools such as Salesforce.

  • Language Skills: Fluent in Dutch and English; German is a plus.

  • Personal Traits: Proactive, results-driven, empathetic, and capable of building and maintaining client relationships.

  • Sales Skills: Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify market opportunities.
